About CORC
Who We Are
The Clinical Orthopaedic Research Consortium is a collaborative network of researchers united by a shared commitment to generating the results of timely and relevant research that improves orthopaedic patient care.
Our History
Founded on Collaboration
CORC was established in 2026 by a group of orthopaedic surgeons and student researchers who recognized that the most pressing clinical questions in their field can be produced in alternate clinical settings.
Mission & Values
What Drives Us
To advance orthopaedic patient care through collaborative clinical research that is rigorous, reproducible, and directly applicable to practice.
Scientific Rigor
We hold our work to the highest methodological standards — thoughtful designs, consistent protocols, and transparent reporting of outcomes including complications and failures.
Collaboration
We believe the best science emerges from diverse perspectives. CORC investigators bring complementary expertise across subspecialties, and patient populations.
Clinical Relevance
Every study we undertake is motivated by a genuine clinical question — one that, when answered, has the potential to change how surgeons care for patients.
Open Science
We are committed to sharing our findings broadly, making publications freely available where possible, and contributing to a culture of transparency in clinical research.
